art essex gallery - a new art venue in the heart of essex, ct - opened its doors for the grand opening on saturday, august 4th, 2012.
art essex will continue to offer a unique mix of local artists, alongside feature shows presenting work from artists from around the country - both emerging and established artists.
"we are excited to open this new art outlet in the charming new england town of essex, ct. as a connecticut resident for many years, we are thrilled to be able to share artists and art our art sensibility with the local community as well as the many tourists
who visit the town of essex."
art essex is a 5,000 square foot exhibition space featuring the work of established and emerging artists. art essex will carry prints, photography, ceramics, sculpture, and paintings. secondary market artists will be available, as well as connecticut turn of the century landscape painters. estates are welcome to contact the gallery for resale of art collections.
regular gallery hours are wednesday - sunday, 10 am - 6 pm
winter hours (jan through march) wed, thurs 11am to 5pm, Fri/sat 11am - 6pm Sun 1pm to 6pm
