Julian Cardinal began drawing from the figure during his freshman year at the University of Vermont. Summering on Cape Cod, he has spent numerous hours painting in the studio of his father, and artist, Robert Cardinal. In the spring of 2011, he graduated from UVM, where he majored in English and minored in Studio Art. His inspiration is derived from artists such as: Michael Davis, Cynthia Packard and Anne Packard, as well as his father - Robert Cardinal.
Julian is also an accomplished violinist, tennis player and cook. He spends much of his time writing and producing music. He grew up in North Truro, MA, and currently resides in Burlington, Vermont, where he works out of a lovely studio in the industrial district.
